Special Needs Planning with Special Guest Kirsten Howe

No one plans on having a child with special needs, but it happens. So what changes in your estate planning when you have a special needs member?

Here are a few things that you need to plan ahead for depending on the level of special needs that the dependent has:
-replacement of care from parents such as a care facility
-care costs for necessary therapies

What happens when there is no plan?
If you haven’t done enough planning, you may pass away and there is no support for your child. The flip side is having the money without a plan and who decides how the money is spent for that child.

Planning is key. Listen to this episode for everything you need to think about in order to prepare them for their life ahead–with or without you.
